Halo has always inspired me with it's enormous sense of storytelling. It's such a fantastic sci-fi inspiration. Those of you who've played the games should recognize this scene from Halo 2; when High Charity arrives at Installation 05.

This scene obviously doesn't ditto an actual in-game cinematic. I just put this together through memory. You'll notice that I designed the ring to appear incomplete which, in my opinion, allows the viewer to fill in the gaps between the ornate Forerunner architecture using their own imaginations.

I should also mention that this was my first, serious take on a digital drawing via Photoshop and Wacom tab. I absolutely love working with the software and hope to create more works like this in the future... but for now, enjoy!

Yeah, it took me a bit to get used to the feel of it; it's awkward at first but then it's just awesome! LOL... I just use the Wacom Intuos 3 tabs at the college I go to, but I'm getting a small Bamboo for my B-Day here in 2 months. Can't wait!
